Thank you for supporting our learning initiatives by working with your child at home. Below are some ideas of how you can help your child at home to support what we are working on at school.

Kindergarten Home Resources

English Language Arts: 

  • Students should read daily for a minimum of 20 minutes from a book of their choice or from Myon.com** 
  • Complete one Thinking Routine daily based on the reading (see attached document for copies of the Thinking Routines) 
  • Monday: See/Think/Wonder 
  • Tuesday: Headlines 
  • Wednesday: Text/Phrase/Word 
  • Thursday: Color/Symbol/Image 
  • Friday:  Student Choice from above 
  • Writing Prompts: 
  • Games are fun to play. Think about the games that you like. Write to explain about the games that you like (see attached rubric).
